Sasha Cream aka Sasha Star...
"In urban communities, adult entertainers are popularly viewed as the female version of a hustler. Just as their male counterparts are trapped by black-market pharmaceuticals, the ladies mirror their position, except the product is themselves. A prime example is 28-year-old Sasha Star, a mother of one, seasoned stripper and porno actress (in her off time she worked the pole for Jeezy’s Gabriel Hart–directed “Welcome Back”). For this Toledo, Ohio–born, Memphis-and-Atlanta-raised go-getter, it’s not about America’s societal opinions or capitalistic hypocrisy — just its dead presidents." 'Love Vs. Everyday Thoughts from Random People (Vol 3)
• If I say "You're killing me, Smalls" and the person I'm talking to
looks at me with confusion and doesn't know why I've called them
Smalls, I question why I'm friends with them.
• I think the worst STD you could ever get is babies.
• I wonder when Will Smith will get the script for the Obama biography movie.
• "I heard it through the grapevine" should be replaced with "I saw it
on Facebook".
• Why is "No." the abbreviation for number? There's not even an o in
the word number.
• Capri Suns never had enough juice in them.
• Quit tailgating me, I'll speed up when I finish typing this text.
• Yesterday my mother called me to tell me that she had gone out to
lunch with a bunch of her female friends the day before. During the
lunch one of her friends said "Oh, guess what I did last night?" To
which my mom responded "Took it up the butt?" I don't know what makes
me more proud, the fact that my 55 year old mother came up with
something like that on the fly, or that she felt the need to let me
know.
• I just saw about 5 people I know at the supermarket and managed to
avoid them all. It was awesome.
• Sandwiches always taste better when someone else makes them.
• The Sunday struggle: not showering because I want to workout. Not
working out because I really don't want to.
• "Seemed like a good idea at the time" is always the right answer.
• Somehow, no matter how tired I am, going on the computer keeps me up
and alert for hours. Wish class or work had the same effect.
• They still have not found a cure for a hangover. Good luck, cancer.
• Sometimes I wonder if philosophers were actually that much smarter
than everyone else, or if they were just the only ones who remembered
to write down all the cool shit they thought of in the shower.

A3C Festival 2009 --- Press Release
GET READY for The A3C Festival coming up Oct 1-3 in EAST ATLANTA...
-----------------------------
The A3C Hip Hop Festival organizers announced their first round of partners today for the 5th installment of the annual A3C Hip Hop Festival taking place across multiple venues in the East Atlanta Village October 1-3, 2009.
MySpace, Red Bull, URB Magazine, Frank 151, Stones Throw Records, Okayplayer, Fusicology, Wax Poetics, Definitive Jux, Duck Down Records, Fatbeats, Babygrande, Tres Records, The Hydrilla and The Bench top the list of partners announced today by The A3C Hip Hop Festival.
Brian Knott, A3C Hip Hop Festival founder explains, “When we made our changes for this year, we knew to be successful, we needed the support of the strongest brands in the Hip Hop world to provide fans and industry alike with an event seen in the same light as a SXSW or CMJ Marathon. Our vision is for the A3C to have all facets of Hip Hop converge in one place and at one time, and be the launching point for what’s next in the space. The only way for us to accomplish this goal is through a shared vision with literally hundreds of partners who are shaping the face of Hip Hop culture in the studio, at the record store, on the radio, on the web, and in the streets, on a daily basis.”
The A3C has been fast at work for months with their partners developing day and nighttime music showcases, art installations, equipment demonstrations, street dance events, panel discussions, and networking parties in an effort to bring together many of the most relevant faces in Hip Hop culture.
“Working with the A3C over the last 3 years has been an incredible experience. When we heard about the new format, we were extremely anxious to be involved. The festival’s audience is a perfect match for several of our national and international music and break-dance events. The A3C understands how to work with us to credibly communicate Red Bull’s innovative programing to attendees. They work closely with us to ensure that we stay true to the Red Bull brand and bring content to true lovers of the Hip Hop community and to advance their art and culture” says Janet Smith (Southeast Culture Marketing Manager for Red Bull North America).
The A3C is continuing to work on additional partnerships to bring the best in Hip Hop programming to the weekend-long festival in Atlanta. Specific showcase, panel, and artist updates will be announced through the festival’s website beginning June 29th and continuing through the event’s start on October 1st. More information about becoming involved in the A3C as an artist, partner, volunteer, or media representative can be found at www.a3cfestival.com.
ABOUT THE A3C: Now in its 5th year, the A3C Hip Hop Festival is a 2-day, 3-night event held annually in Atlanta, GA featuring live performances from some of Hip Hop’s most elite artists. The live performance schedule is enhanced by day and evening events showcasing some of the most exciting break-dance, graphic art, fashion, film, equipment demonstrations and panels relating to Hip Hop culture.
The 2009 A3C is held in multiple venues all located within easy walking distance of each other in the East Atlanta Village. Since 2005, the event has featured over 300 of the most exciting artists in Hip Hop including: The Juice Crew, Biz Markie, Del the Funky Homosapien, The Clipse, Souls of Mischief, Little Brother, Wale, and B.o.B. In 2008, the A3C was attended by over 9,000 fans and featured partnerships and co-sponsored events with MySpace, Red Bull, Scion, URB, Pabst Blue Ribbon, and New Era.

The Canz came through "GA" studios a.k.a SMKA studios last night to record a joint for The 808 Experiment: Vol 2. It was the first (but hopefully not the last time) that SMKA and the CANZ had worked on something together, but it goes without saying that the song is crazy.
The "WORLD FAMOUS" CANZ are a dope ass group that (if you don't already know) you need to familiar yourself with. AND apparently Foster is good friends with AC Slater, which is pretty cool too.

Pill - "Trap Goin' Ham" Video Teaser (Motion Family)
Keep it in the family...
SMKA recorded a song with Pill last week, and Motion Family just shot Pill's first music video "Trap Goin' Ham." Pill is flat out sick! He is one of the most talented underground artists I know of and is going to blow very soon. I wasn't convinced at first, but after meeting and working with Pill, I now have no doubt.
Congrats on the video, and can't wait to see it. And from what I heard the video shoot was fucking crazy/ hilarious. It involved several crackheads and a taser...
